Ever wanted to learn an instrument, pick up a new language, tackle a project, or finally finish that book? In a world drowning in digital noise and endless distractions, those goals can feel out of reach. Real focus—the kind that builds lasting skill—has never been harder to acquire.
Reset Retreat is an off-grid facility that provides a reference of what you’re capable of when cheap digital distractions aren’t accessible. You’ll choose from a number of options to dive into during your stay. Whether that’s learning some notes on an instrument, picking up new words in a language, tackling assorted hands-on crafting projects, diving into a classic book, or simply discovering the power of patience and self-reflection. Our goal is to show you what becomes possible with a clear mind and time that’s completely yours.
What to expect
Day 1- Dopamine Detox
Studies have shown that stimulus deprivation, greatly help to restore our natural dopamine function. This process occurs when our receptors become less responsive due to chronic overstimulation from technology and lifestyle habits. By reducing sensory input, we can recalibrate the brain's dopamine system, helping to break free from addictive behaviors and promoting mental clarity. Research from Nature Neuroscience and the Journal of Behavioral Addictions supports that practices, like strategic self-isolation in combination with journaling, help restore the brain’s natural dopamine function. Additionally, studies from Harvard University and the Journal of Neural Transmission have demonstrated the impact of reduced stimulation on dopamine receptor balance and its role in attention and addiction.
Day 1 is about slowing down and settling in. You’ll get a tour of the grounds and be shown to your cabin — your space for reflection and rest. Take the time to write down your thoughts in the provided journal and pen. As the day winds down, we’ll gather as a group to share first impressions and reflections around the fire. Simple, hearty meals and snacks will be provided throughout the day. From day 2 onwards, participants will enjoy the routine outlined below.

Construction of the camp began in May 2025 on a remote property in Tiny, Ontario. It has been an entirely solo project, driven by the goal of keeping start-up costs as low as possible so that everyday people can benefit from the program. The main common area (pictured below) is now complete, with individual cabins currently being built. The facility is expected to open in July 2026.
